Higher Education is facing a mental health crisis, exacerbated by COVID-19. Warwick Engineering researchers are demonstrating the importance of designing and utilsing spaces with user wellbeing in mind.

Professor Wanda Lewis, from the School of Engineering at the University of Warwick has been elected a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.

Dr Leandro Pecchia, associate professor at the University of Warwick's school of engineering, hopes to use electrocardiogram (ECG) signals to track glucose levels by applying AI tools to a heartbeat scan, he can detect low blood glucose with similar accuracy to a CGM.
