Project title: Airborne Nano Particles: Finding a Way through the Maze

The behaviour of airborne submicron particles under confinement is important to the health outcomes of inhaled nanoparticles and to the design of systems that can detect and remove them. In this combined computational and experimental PhD, you will explore how the nature of the particles (size, shape, material) affects their fluid dynamics and deposition within small channels, ducts and devices.
