Warwick Integrative Synthetic Biology Centre (WISB)
WISB delivers an integrated, internationally leading programme of research, innovation and training for synthetic biology. WISB is a BBSRC/EPSRC funded Synthetic Biology Research Centre (SBRC), supported through the UK Research Councils' Synthetic Biology for Growth programme.
EPSRC & BBSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Synthetic Biology (SynBioCDT)
The EPSRC & BBSRC Synthetic Biology Centre for Doctoral Training (SynBioCDT) is a 4-year doctoral programme that offers training in the new field of Synthetic Biology, the “Engineering of Biology”. This centre is a collaboration between the Universities of Oxford, Bristol and Warwick.
Centre for Scientific Computing (CSC)
CSC's goals are: to create an inter-disciplinary research community developing and sharing computational expertise for the resolution of significant research goals; to train and support researchers at every level from MSc through PhD, PDRAs and permanent staff; and to manage a strategy for making high performance computing environments available at Warwick, enabling students and research groups access to national and international facilities.
i-STUTE (Interdisciplinary centre for Storage, Transformation and Upgrading of Thermal Energy)
i-STUTE is an interdisciplinary centre for Storage, Transformation and Upgrading of Thermal Energy. It develops technologies that aim to reduce energy consumption and deliver cost-effective heating and cooling which will help the UK achieve its target of a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions of 80% by 2050. The Centre is lead by Warwick School of Engineering.
