Experiments were carried out in a low-turbulence wind tunnel to study the development of artificially initiated turbulent spots over a flat plate, which were found highly reproducible until a very late stage of transition due to the deterministic turbulence methodology. In this talk, the anatomy of turbulent spots at different stages of development will be illustrated, which is followed by a discussion of the strategy to control the turbulent spots.
