EPSRC have announced funding for a Centre for Doctoral Training in Modelling of Heterogeneous Systems at the University of Warwick. HetSys involves academics from the departments of Physics, Engineering, Chemistry and Mathematics and the Warwick Manufacturing Group (WMG) and is now recruiting its first cohort of students to start in October 2019. The University of Warwick has issused a press release.

The first batch of HetSys PhD projects for an October 2019 start have been announced and are now open for applications. The computional modelling and simulation projects span a range of application themes including novel electronic devices, high performance alloys and smart nanofluidic interfaces.
