HetSys PhD Project Proposal

Submission deadline: 17:00 on 23 October 2020

All projects submitted will be considered for advertising for an October 2021 start. We plan to advertise 15-20 projects for a cohort intake of 10-12.

Submissions will be assessed using your responses to the questions below. Key selection criteria will be:

(i) alignment with HetSys’ aims and training provision;

(ii) engagement with partners, ideally including significant match funding;

(iii) ongoing and/or scope for engagement of supervisor and research group with the HetSys community, e.g. through training or participation in other HetSys activities such as study groups, conferences, seminar series, etc.

Please complete as much of the form as possible; we appreciate for example that a number of details may not yet be finalised.

The information submitted will be used to assess proposals for HetSys PhD projects for 2021. It will be shared with the HetSys Management Team and members of the HetSys Steering Panel. Information will be retained until the call for 2022 projects opens.
