Third VeGIN Stakeholder Meeting
You are cordially invited to attend the third stakeholder meeting of the Vegetable Genetic Improvement Network. The meeting is an opportunity not only to hear about the achievements of the VeGIN projects and from a range of external speakers but also to discuss your own research and development needs and the best way to address these in the future.
The meeting will be made up of three sessions. The first, beginning with lunch at 12.30pm on Monday 20th February will focus on carrot and onion research. This will be followed by an evening reception with a buffet meal – a good opportunity for networking. The third session beginning at 9.30am on Tuesday 21st February will focus on brassica and leafy vegetable research and will finish at around lunchtime. A poster display will be available and we welcome offers of posters to include.
A more detailed timetable will be made available soon, together with a list of suggested local hotels should you wish to stay overnight.
Attendance is free of charge but as places are limited, please confirm your attendance by email to vegin@warwick.ac.uk as soon as possible, along with any special dietary requirements. If you would like to bring a poster to display, please also indicate this in your reply.
We look forward to seeing you at the meeting.
