As many of you are aware there has been unprecedented demand for the new module MA3K7 Problem Solving with Python, we had initially placed a cap of 80 students, which has been vastly overshot. Thus, regrettably, we have had to find a way to reduce numbers so that the module can run. We summarise below, but apologise to those of you that will unfortunately have to miss out… even after the below we will still have in excess of 130 students taking the module.

3^rd year G100 students, and 4^th year G101 students (BSc with intercalated year), for whom this is a list A module, who have already registered (as of 5pm on October 5th), will be allowed to stay on the module. We will not be able accept any further registrations, even if some of those registered deregister in the future, and for this purpose we have a record of those registered so far which will be used when confirming registrations.

3^rd and 4^th year MMath students (for whom this is a List B) module will be deregistered.

We will also be removing all students from outside of the department including joint degrees.

Below will either say you are on the module, will be deregistered, or if it is blank then you did not register before the cut-off and will not now be able to register.
