Marco Barberis

I am a fourth year PhD student in geometry and topology, under the supervision of Professor Brian H. Bowditch and Dr Saul Schleimer. I am currently studying rigidity of complexes related to curve complex of surfaces.

I come from Turin, Italy, but as an undergraduated I attended Scuola Normale Superiore, and hence Università di Pisa, where in 2017 I got my Master degree with a thesis in geometric group theory entitled "QI-rigidity for lattices of hyperbolic isometries", under the supervision of Prof. Roberto Frigerio.

Together with Solly Coles I organise the DAGGER Seminar, a weekly junior dynamics, geometry and topology seminar.

For more information about my education, along with a list of conferences attended, here it is a curriculum vitae of mine.
