IATL funding proposal submitted
The CEH have submitted a proposal to the Institute for Advanced Teaching and Learning (IATL) at Warwick for funding of a habitability seminar series.
STFC funding application unsuccessful
Unfortunately, the CEH's application to the STFC for funding for our 'Festival of Habitability' has been unsuccessful. The team are now considering the feedback that we received, and are looking at alternative funding sources for aspects of the festival.
Two new habitability-related papers
The week beginning 30th November 2015 has seen the release of two papers relating to habitability; one is concerned with exoplanet systems, while the other deals with a body much closer to home.
Stable climate with a hydrogen atmosphere?
Published on the arXive preprint server today is a paper looking at whether habitable conditions could be established and maintained on terrestrial planets with thick, hydrogen rich atmospheres.
Kepler's habitable planets?
A new paper published yesterday on the ArXiv preprint server examines the host stars of potentially habitable planets found by the Kepler space mission. The work was led by the ICH's own David Armstrong.
