Fixed term contract for two years

At the Centre for Fusion, Space & Astrophysics (University of Warwick, UK) we seek candidates for an opening of an STFC-funded postdoctoral vacancy to work on the theoretical and observational study of MHD waves and oscillations in the solar corona. The project comprises of the analysis of data obtained with space-borne telescopes including SDO, Hinode, STEREO and RHESSI, and ground-based observational facilities, and analytical and numerical modelling of these phenomena, including high-performance MHD and plasma simulations, and plasma diagnostics. You will work with Prof V.M. Nakariakov, Prof T.D. Arber and Dr E. Verwichte, and other members of CFSA. The contract will be for two years.

You will have, or will expect to attain, a PhD in a relevant discipline.
