International Online Team "Effects of Coronal Heating/Cooling on MHD Waves"

Rationale

This series of international online seminars are organised and successfully run for the brainstorming of the effects of solar atmospheric heating/cooling processes and their perturbed equilibrium on the dynamics and stability of MHD waves, the interest to which persistently grows over the last years. The webinars are usually held every fortnight (once a month since Autumn 2022) and open for everyone interested in this business, including early career researchers and students. With the main scope of these meetings being to initiate the discussion (not just presenting!), it runs in a very loose format, with active interruptions, exchange of thoughts and ideas, itchy questions and suggestions. The information about the next meeting and the list of past meetings and the specific research topics discussed can be found below. For more details (or joining this activity), please contact Dmitrii Kolotkov (d.kolotkov.1@warwick.ac.uk).
