Access to the EM-RTP from outside the University
We have many years of expertise in electron microscopy and analysis and are able to assist with any investigations you may wish to carry out. If you have an investigation or experiment you would like to carry out, we would be happy to discuss details, either by contacting us directly or by booking through our Warwick Scientific Services (WSS) web pages

The EM RTP has strong links with both industry and other higher education institutions, helping to image, analyse and solve problems for a range of clients. We can offer advice, set up a plan of work and implement it to give you the information you need about a sample.
Getting started
We always recommend a discussion of your analysis needs and aims before starting on a programme of work. Typical questions that need to be addressed are
- What is the most appropriate technique?
- What sample preparation routes are appropriate?
- What is the timescale?
- What format should the results take?
If you have a long-term need for these techniques you can become an approved external user and book time to carry out the experiments on the machine of your choice. You will need to be trained in the use of the microscopes before you can do this.
