Postgraduate Placements: Call out for organisations
The Department of Psychology at University of Warwick are seeking organisations interested in hosting placement students.
The students are enrolled on the MSc Mental Health and Wellbeing programme in the Department of Psychology, University of Warwick. Students can work up to 3 days a week and are typically unpaid for their placement.

Placements last three months, starting in April. Exact start dates are flexible, but placements should begin during April and last for 12 weeks from the start date.
Role and responsibilities:
- We are open to tailoring the placement to align with the organisation’s needs and objectives. Our students are highly motivated, and will be training in the area of mental health and wellbeing at MSc level. Our students can work in a variety of areas in your business including, but not limited to, supporting with your wellbeing strategy, wellbeing events, staff wellbeing, policy evaluation, and other operational needs and support.
Scope:
- The placement can involve a wide range of activities, both related and unrelated to the topic of mental health and wellbeing, but should provide work skills and experiences relevant to the students career aspirations.
- For their course dissertation, students will complete a report focusing on an aspect of wellbeing relevant to the organisation. Possible topics include, but are not limited to:
- Mental health research
- Staff wellbeing initiatives
- Data collection or analysis related to a wellbeing issue
- Wellbeing policy within the organisation
- Evaluation of an existing initiative related to mental health and wellbeing
