Machine Learning and Data Science are crucial, now that biology and medicine have become data-rich disciplines. Much of the Centre's research activity occurs in these related disciplines, and underpins much of our work.

• Developing new machine learning/data science methods and tools
• Applying these tools to important problems in medicine and biology
• Competing in data science competitions (as 'Warwick Data Science')
