Details of the scholarship

With the support of the British Association for Applied Linguistics & Cambridge University Press funding, we are happy to provide up to a maximum of 10 scholarships to attend this conference.

The scholarship will cover two-way train tickets to attend the conference. We are able to cover 50% (£75) of a maximum cost of £150. Tickets up to £75 will be fully funded (100% of the full travel costs).

Funding criteria:

  • Self-funded PhDs, external to Warwick
  • Priority will be given to PhD students travelling from a distance equal to or greater than 50 miles from the venue (from the departing and arriving train stations)
  • PhD students who have completed their first year or their Upgrade Panel
  • Representation of different institutions will be sought as much as possible
