The results builds on the departments recent success in the 2019 NSS survey where 100% of students gave their overall satisfaction with our undergraduate courses as 95.2%

Head of Department, Ema Ushioda, said ‘I am extremely proud of our number 2 ranking in this high profile league table. Our staff and students work together as partners to build a strong learning community and it is doubtless this model of learning which has supported our rise in this ranking’.

Jo Angouri, Director of Undergraduate Studies added, ‘This is a real cause for celebration across the whole CAL community of staff, students and alumni. Our students are at the heart of our learning community and our rise in a league table which emphasises teaching quality and the student experience is a testament to the experience we offer’.
