Member of the research group Working and Communicating across Cultures (WACC). Research interests lie in the development and assessment of intercultural competence for international and host students.
Lynnette has taught in a variety of EFL/ESP settings including language schools in Mexico and Spain, a business language consultancy in Germany, as well as at FE colleges and universities in the UK. She has worked as an EAP tutor and materials writer for Coventry and Oxford Brookes universities. She has been a tutor and materials developer at Warwick since 1998 and has contributed to the E-China and EASE electronic learning projects. She is now involved in the development and delivery of courses in cultural studies and intercultural communication, including modules for the BEd TESL (Culture and Citizenship; Culture and Language Teaching). Her research interests lie in the development and assessment of intercultural competence for international and host students.
