Applied Linguistics Offer-Holder Open Day
All UCAS 2019-2020 Offer-Holders will be invited to visit us for a day. The Offer-Holder Open day will give you the opportunity to explore the University campus where you might be spending the next three or four years and meet some of the staff and students in Applied Linguistics. You will be given a more in-depth look at our approach to the study of Language, Culture and Communication and Linguistics and will be introduced to the facilities both we and the university have to offer. The next Offer-Holder Open Days for 2019-2020 applicants will be:
BA Language, Culture and Communication - Wednesday 27th February & Saturday 9th March 2019
Offer-holders also have the option to book onto our Warwick Offer-Holder Mornings, which are run exclusively for offer-holders on several dates in early 2019. These are designed for those who would like to receive general information about the University, our accommodation and finance & funding. The Warwick Offer-Holder Mornings will also include a campus tour and a visit into two halls of residence.
If you are unable to attend one of our Open Days, then we will try and offer you the opportunity to come to Applied Linguistics at your convenience. When possible we will take you on a tour of the department, introduce you to an existing student to take you around the campus and give you plenty of opportunities to ask questions.
Warwick Visits are not full Open Days but offer an alternative opportunity for you to visit our campus if you are unable to attend an Open Day. Warwick Visits are predominantly designed for students who have not yet applied to an undergraduate course at the University although anyone is welcome to attend. Parents and supporters are always welcome to come along as well, and each visit lasts approximately 2 hours. Please click here for more information.
If you are unable to attend an Open Day or Warwick Visit, a Campus Tour provides an ideal opportunity to see the highlights of the University, and help you get a feel for campus life. Please click here for more information.
