COVID-19 information for second-year Applied Linguistics undergraduates

How will revision sessions happen?

Module leaders have published plans for all revision sessions. If you have not received information for any of your modules, contact the relevant module leader.

How will I take my exams?

The university has published the schedule for exams, and all module leaders have published plans for Term 3 assessments. If you have not received information for any of your modules, contact the relevant module leader.

What does the "safety net" mean for me?

The university has published details of the safety net policy, which assures that end-of-year average marks for intermediate- and final-year undergraduate students will not be detrimentally affected by the changes to teaching, learning, and assessment necessitated by COVID-19. If you have questions about how the safety net will apply to you, contact your personal tutor. Please note, though, that you must complete all required assessments for all your coursework in order to be eligible for the safety net.

I took an option module in another department, which is normally offered as a first-year module. First-year modules are not being examined during Term 3. Will I need to complete an exam?

These details are still being coordinated. Follow the university's central communications for information. You will also be contacted by the department responsible for the module.
