For the assignment we are presenting a 5,000 report of the two case study activities you have carried out with new technology. These are topped and tailed with an introduction and a concluding commentary. Thus the assignment will contain:

• Introduction: explain the idea of developing frameworks to consider teaching and learning with technology; explains that you are investigating two widely used frameworks; introduce the case studies; what was common to / or distinctive about them.

• The two case studies themselves, these may be cut and pasted from the blog but feel free to adapt the text.
• Case study 1 involves an investigation of TPaCK as a way of analysing an intervention with technology
• Case study 2 involves an investigation of the interaction frameworks for understanding the way technology has been used

[Note here the case studies can be based on the same or similar uses of the technology or they can be different, they can build on what you did last year or you can start with a clean slate].

In the summary consider:

• What is a useful / not useful about frameworks in general?
• The strengths and weaknesses of the two frameworks?
• Are there other frameworks which can be used (see notes from session two)?
• Is there anything generalisable about the two cases in terms of teaching and learning (for example do they support ideas of personalised / deep learning) what do they tell you about the use of technology (eg you can adapt it your purposes or seems to have a life of its own) ?
• What have I learnt about these cases which I will use to inform developments in my department / school.
