Phase 2: Action research

Each of the four working groups will meet regularly over the Spring and Summer terms to plan developments in their particular areas. They will receive support from David Wray and/or other Warwick colleagues in terms of the provision of appropriate resource materials and the facilitation of discussion and ideas generation. This support will be face to face on at least four occasions during the working period (half-termly), but will also be provided electronically outside of these face to face meetings.

Each group will need to aim to produce:

  • a suggested policy statement for its development area,
  • suggested strategies for teaching and assessment in the area,
  • a plan for dissemination of ideas generated to colleagues,
  • a plan for implementation and monitoring over the succeeding academic year,
  • reflective commentaries on the process of being involved in this action research project.
