Our PGCE Information Evenings provide information about our local PGCE with QTS programme. Our evenings are an opportunity to meet academic and administrative staff, ask questions and also meet other people who are considering our programmes. The PGCE with QTS programme is for individuals who already have a degree and want to train to be a teacher working in primary, secondary and special schools in England.

If you are an overseas qualified teacher who trained to teach outside of England, and you are looking to apply for qualified teacher status (QTS) to teach in English schools, please see the UK government website for further information.

We offer both in-person and online evenings depending on demand.

The in-person information evenings will follow this schedule:

• 5.45pm - Registrations, tea and coffee in the Avon Building
• 6pm - An introduction to teaching at Warwick
• 6.30pm - Primary (including Early Years) and Secondary focused sessions and time for questions

The online information evenings will follow this schedule:

• 6pm - An introduction to teaching at Warwick
• 6.30pm - Primary (including Early Years) and Secondary focused sessions and time for questions

All questions will be answered, so feel free to ask anything - what to write in your application; what you will study; what life is like studying at the University of Warwick; what career opportunities you may have in the future etc.
