Ellie Tew

Ellie Tew - Associate Teaching Fellow

Ellie has been working in secondary education for 17 years, delivering and leading on Art and Design and Photography to KS3-KS5 students. Ellie has also taught other subjects, such as Design and Technology and was previously 2nd in department for Design and Technology/Art. Ellie is currently a Head of department in Warwickshire and the ITT lead and leads on some ECF training. Throughout her career she has also led on whole school CPD and thoroughly enjoyed completing her NPQLTD in 2023. Ellie has also worked with a number of Universities, which have included assessing trainee teachers and delivering lectures. Through the development of coaching and mentoring teachers and leading a department she is passionate about working with colleagues to develop good practice in the classroom, that allows all learners to reach their potential. Ellie is passionate about her current role which includes mentoring trainee teachers. The opportunity to now help shape the educators of the future is an exciting one for her, and she is excited to work with Warwick University and support the Centre of Educations core principals.
