Jane is an Associate Teaching Fellow on the Secondary PGCE course providing professional and personal support for trainees. She also assesses content for the course, including Master’s level essays, presentations, and assignments.

Jane spent 20 years in the public sector within an educational context.

Previous roles include Head of English, KS3 National Literacy Consultant, English Advisor and School Improvement Advisor working with all subject departments for Coventry Local Authority. She has worked at a senior strategic level and lead teams responsible for providing learning and development.

Whilst leading training for teachers, Jane wrote a range of creative guides and resources with teachers to support their teaching and development. She is passionate about how education makes a difference to the life chances of young people in school. Jane spent two years as a secondary coach with Teaching Leaders/Ambition School Leadership and is currently completing a L7 Master’s qualification in Executive/Leadership coaching with over 150 hours of coaching over the last three years.
