Over her 20 year career in Higher Education, Miriam has worked in course and programme administration, quality, admissions, finance, and learning technology.
Her vast experience has been gained at numerous universities including the University of Southampton and the University of Buckingham.

PGATEL
As part of her Postgraduate Technology Enhanced Learning (PGATEL) studies, Miriam focused her project on bite-sized teaching, digital capabilities, and e-learning fatigue.
Project title: Using bite-size learning objects to improve student digital capabilities.
Digital Teacher Education in CTE
Project aims:
- Transformation and enhancement of teacher education at CTE
- Quality
- Inclusivity and access
- Increase geographic range of partners & WBL
- Address ‘cold spots’ & sparsity/supply issues
- Achieve greater course cost effectiveness
Miriam has supported the project and its four strands: Mentoring, Digital Communities of Practice, Reusable Learning Objects, Student Experience and Quality Assurance.
