Vanessa Lea - Associate Teaching Fellow

Vanessa has been working in secondary education for 25 years, delivering Geography in all key stages. She has worked as a Deputy Head in Northamptonshire, leading in a number of areas including teaching and learning, assessment and progress across the school. Through the development of coaching models in her roles, she is passionate about working with colleagues to develop good practice in the classroom that allows all learners to reach their potential. Her current role includes responsibility for high attainers and an exploration into high quality pedagogy including the ethic of excellence that will challenge more able students.

Vanessa has worked with trainee teachers in school for a number of years and has a particular interest in questioning and feedback strategies.
