Keynote PresentationDad stole the Snow ![]() Faye, Gayathiri, Keitija, Joe, Tanny, Dami and Ayyran are students at Barr’s Hill School in Coventry who care deeply about climate change and have a message for you as trainee teachers. Together, they have written and directed a short film for this year’s conference which explores intergenerational perspectives around climate and sustainability. Following a live stream of the video, they will be interviewed by Callum Winter, a teacher at the school, and take questions from you. |

11:00 - 12:00 | Parallel SessionsTitle: Students leading Climate Education Presenters: Jacob Morrow, Emily Herbert, and students from Heart of England School and Emily Herbert from Teach the Teacher ![]() ![]() Description: Students were recently trained by Emily Herbert from Teach the Teacher with the skills and knowledge to give their teachers a lesson on climate change, teaching them about what it's like being a young person in the climate crisis and the need for climate education for all. Supported by Jacob Morrow, a Geography teacher at the school, they have been empowered to be advocates for change. This session is an opportunity to hear about what the students gained and how they impacted the staff and the school. Weblinks: |
