ITT Market Review
Teacher education at Warwick and the Initial Teacher Training (ITT) market review
What is the ITT market review?
The Department for Education have undertaken a review of the initial teacher training (ITT) market for courses that lead to qualified teacher status (QTS). The aim of the review is to enable the provision of consistently high quality training, in line with the ITT core content framework (CCF), in an effective and efficient market.
Following publication of the report which can be found here the DfE is seeking views on the recommendations made in the report through a consultation.
We intend to submit a response from the University of Warwick that is also representative of our ITT partnership with schools. We'd be very keen to have your contributions to inform this response but require these no later than July 29th...
To have an input in to our response, you are welcome to either:
a) send us a copy of your direct submission to the DFE if you were already planning to make one. You have the option to download as PDF of your submission once you have completed.
b) email us at partnership@warwick.ac.uk, listing the relevant consultation question number(s) you are addressing in each instance. Please do let us know if your submission reflects your own views or those of your named organisation.
You can complete the online DFE consultation here
