Welcome to this online resource for mentors

Suggestions for content include:

• Infographics - different ways of displaying data
• Video/audio files - different ways of displaying content (can also include screencasts here)
• Blog - encourage mentors to blog about their experiences?
• Glossary of terms - need to have a glossary associated with the page but it can be quite effective
• How to guides - still relevant for administrative functions
• Photo gallery - photos from mentoring events, images always useful providing we have permission
• Case studies - examples of good mentoring experiences/practices
• Q&A - possibly linked to discussion fora
• Newsletters - copies of the ones you send out via email
• Interviews - again linked to case studies
• Research data/outcomes - up to date statistics that you have from our data or sector data
• Twitter feed - is there an ITE mentor Twitter feed we could link to/create?
• ebooks - not sure about licencing options here but could investigate if you think appropriate
• Webinars (Blackboard Collaborate) - have link to mentoring room you use for online training sessions
• Calendar of events - is there an CTE calendar for the mentoring year?
• Podcasts/vodcasts - like videos or audio files but serialised
• Slideshare/Prezi presentations - displaying content in different ways - slideshare option in Site Builder.
• Feedback/survey/questionnaire/polls - ways of gathering data and can then link to research/data outcomes above (site builder forms, Qualtrics questionnaires, Mentimeter for live questioning during sessions)
• Timeline - the ITE mentor year
• Quizzes - can be linked to gaining certification but we need to think how we will record grades if we use H5P or other external software
• Branching scenarios
• Mindmaps - displaying content in different ways
• PDFs - displaying content in different ways

• Audio file can be 60 seconds long if imported into interface and 90 seconds long if recorded directly in the interface.
