C-Live (virtual reality learning)
Earlier this week I met with a rep. from a company called Connect who offer virtual reality training in a variety of subjects for trainee teachers, such as dealing with autistic children or managing behavioural problems in classes. The trainees interact with a virtual classroom of students, some of whom have particular special needs. The trainees are able to enact specific teaching methods or plans to manage these ‘students’ and see in real time what the outcomes would be without the risk of doing this in a real classroom.
