Monday 28th September 2026

09:00-10:00 Diploma Welcome Session: Room S0.17 (Social Sciences)

During this session, the Diploma Course Director will welcome you to the department and provide essential information about the upcoming year, including:

  • Degree Course Structure and Regulations
  • Accessing Resources
  • Introduction to Key Staff Members
  • Communications
  • Support and Wellbeing
  • Next Steps

This informative session is designed to answer many of your questions about the course and ensure you are well-prepared for the year ahead.

17:00-18:30-Welcome Reception: Room Panorama (Rootes Building)

We’re delighted to welcome you to our Economics student community and invite you to attend our Head of Department Welcome Session. This event is a great opportunity to:

  • Meet the Head of Department and other key academic and support staff in an informal setting
  • Connect with your fellow students in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere

This session is entirely optional, so there's no obligation to attend. Feel free to pop in if you have any questions!
