Teaching

MSc Modules and eMR

Modules taught by the Department of Economics begin with the code 'EC'. The next part of the code tells you the year in which you take the module. For example, EC901 is an MSc module taught by the Department of Economics.

Details of the modules for your degree can be found in the MSc Handbook 2023-24, which will be published in the week commencing 11 September. When you arrive at the University you will need to register your module choices for the 2023/2024 academic year using the eVision Module Registration (eMR) system. The system will be open from Wednesday 27 September to Monday 16 October; to access eMR you will need to sign-in via eVision.

Please note that EC991 Topics in Applied Microeconomics will not be running in 2023/24.

Lectures and classes

Lectures for your Autumn Term EC-coded modules will begin from Monday 9 October (Academic Week 2), and you will be able to view these on Tabula once you have completed your module registration. Check your teaching timetable carefully and regularly.

Support and Feedback classes for all EC-coded modules will begin in the week commencing 16 October (Academic Week 3). You will be asked to sign up to a group through Tabula. Support and Feedback classes take place weekly, and you will typically received work in advance which should be completed in preparation for discussion in the classes. Additional questions or case studies will also be given to you during your classes, where you will have time to work on and present them to the class. Moodle forums are also available for modules where you can discuss the contents of lectures, classes and readings and these are monitored daily.

We recommend that you complete the Learning to Learn in Economics Moodle course during your induction period to familiarise yourself with our blended learning approach, and many other aspects of your learning experience at Warwick Economics
