Awards and Prizes

The Department of Economics has the following prizes and awards which are bestowed on Postgraduates each academic year.

Postgraduate Student Prizes

  • £100 Examiners' Prize for the best overall performance across the MSc in Economics, MSc Economics and International Financial Economics and MSc Behavioural and Economic Science (Economics Track)
  • £100 Examiners' Prize for the best exam performance across the MSc in Economics and MSc Economics and International Financial Economics
  • £100 Dissertation Prize for the best MSc dissertation
  • £100 Project Prize for the best MSc in Behavioural and Economic Science (Economics Track) project
  • £100 Shiv Nath Prize for the best MSc student performance in the field of Development Economics

Please note that the Department reserves the right not to award any of these prizes in any one year.
