Getting Started with IT Systems

To help you settle in smoothly, we’ve put together a quick guide to the key IT systems you’ll be using at Warwick. From accessing your timetable to submitting assignments, this summary will make navigating your first few weeks a little easier.

• Tabula –Use Tabula to view your timetable, check assignment deadlines and monitoring points, find your Personal Tutor details, submit mitigation requests, submit assignments and sign up for events

• Moodle – Your online learning platform. Access lecture materials, lecture recordings, pre-recorded content, reading lists, ask questions in the forums and view announcements from your lecturers for all your EC modules.

• eVision (eMR) – Your student records system. Use eVision to complete administrative tasks such as registering for optional modules, updating personal details, and downloading documents such as Student Status letters.

• MyWarwick App –Access information about your timetable, university email, campus maps, wellbeing support, and important university updates all in one place. The app also sends notifications about urgent or important information related to your studies.

• my.wbs (Economics & Management students and students taking WBS modules) – Warwick Business School's online learning platform. Use my.wbs to access WBS module information, seminar details, coursework deadlines, learning resources, and important communications for your WBS modules. • Microsoft Teams Download Teams onto your phone or computer

  • Used for occasional online lectures, meetings, events, and shared resources.
  • If a lecture is online, the link to join will normally be on your tabula timetable (click on the event and then find the link)
  • Create study group chats or connect with your mentor group.
  • Sign in with your Warwick account (e.g. u123456@live.warwick.ac.uk). Your username is u + your six-digit University number.
