Stan's Cafe's - The Capital inspired by the Department of Economics

Stan's Cafe is a theatre company based in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter. About 3 years ago James Yarker, Artistic Director, and Craig Stephens, Associate Director, attended presentations by our academics (Abhinay Muthoo, Robby Akerloff, Roland Ratherlot, Steffie Paredes Fuentes, Thiemo Fetzer, Lucie Gadenne, Clement Imbert, Claire Crawford, Christian Soegaard, Sascha Becker, Eugenio Proto, Marcus Miller, Tatiana Coutto, Siobhan Benita) which inspired them so much that they came up with an idea for a show called The Capital. The show is embarking on a UK tour and on 12 February (7.30pm) will be performing at Warwick Arts Centre. There will be a post show talk after the performance. A number of tickets will be available for staff. Please email Bozena Bozena dot Beauclair at warwick dot ac dot uk if you are interested in attending.
