Royal Economic Society Women’s Committee

The Royal Economic Society Women’s Committee promotes the status of women in economics by identifying and removing barriers to progress. The committee monitors and reports on the status of women in economics and seeks to identify and to tackle the causes of their under-representation in the subject. It provides support for women in their careers as economists and ensures that the interests of women are represented in all of the Society’s activities.

CEPR Women in Economics

CEPR is formalising its efforts to improve female representation in the economic profession with the creation of the Women in Economics Initiative. Led by CEPR’s Vice-President, Hélène Rey, this initiative will aim to redress gender imbalances in the economic profession, partnering with CEPR member organisations to promote women within the field.

European Economic Association (Women in Economics)

The EEA Committee on Women in Economics' (WinE) objective is to support women in the economics profession by facilitating the formation of networks, by circulating information on, or relevant to, female economists, and by providing a forum for discussion of issues relevant to women in economics.
