Economics is everywhere and it can be used to explain many aspects of everyday life. That is why everyone should have a basic understanding of the discipline!

The Warwick Economics Summer School will run from the 21 July - 8 August 2014 and offers a unique and exciting opportunity for non-economists to gain a sound understanding of the key principles of Economics.

But don't take our word for it - come along to a free economics taster session with Professor Abhinay Muthoo, Head of Department.

Everyone is welcome – this will be the perfect way to see if this course is right for you.

Wednesday 30 April 2014 | 5-6.30pm | S2.77 (Social Sciences)

Our Principles of Economics course will provide an excellent foundation in Economics and help students to understand the important decisions made by individuals, firms and governments. It will allow students to make better decisions themselves and to answer questions that we ask ourselves on a daily basis, ultimately providing a distinct career advantage.

Taught in a non-technical way, this course is open to anyone who is curious about Economics and why it has such a major impact on our lives.

There are no specific entry requirements. We welcome applications from staff and students from any discipline who wish to enhance their skills, knowledge and CV.

Enhanced Discount for Warwick Students

We are offering a 20% discount on tuition fees to all Warwick students. Applications received before the end of April 2014 will also be eligible for a 10% discount on accommodation packages.
