Tuesday 8 May 2018We are delighted to announce that the Department of Economics at Warwick is ranked 3rd in the subject league table for Economics in the Complete University Guide 2019.
Our Department held the same position last year - cementing our position as one of the leading Economics departments in the UK.
The Complete University Guide is an independent and trusted league table that publishes data each year based on key indicators. It combines several different quality indicators including ones on teaching, as measured by the National Student Survey 2017 results, and research quality, as measured by the 2014 Research Excellence Framework. As such, these rankings aim to recognise the overall quality of a Department.
The Director of Studies, Professor Robin Naylor had this to say:
We are always pleased when the Department is recognised as one of the very top departments of Economics in the UK and internationally, reflecting our ambition to produce globally-important academic and policy-relevant research and to provide an excellent teaching and learning environment for all of our students.
