Summer Schools have been an important activity for young economists and CAGE is happy to be able to continue this tradition in April this year. We welcome applications from current PhD students and those who have completed PhD studies in the last 3 years.

What will it address?

This five day school is aimed at PhD students in Political Science and Economics, interested in diverse topics in Political Economics.

Political Science an emerging field both in Economics and Quantitative and Formal Political Science and this school aims to bring scholarship from both disciplines closer together in order to enhance and facilitate multidisciplinary discussion and cooperation. The school will not only allow horizontally integrating scholarship in Political Economics across different disciplines but will also facilitate vertical integration. Students from both fields will have the opportunity to meet prominent scholars in Economics and Politics working on topics in formal Political economy and Quantitative Comparative Political Economics.

The school will combine lectures on emerging topics in Political Economy, Research Talks and students will also have the opportunity to present their own work to allow for feedback from scholars and peers.
