CAGE Essay Competition: Spring 2020

Competition now open

At CAGE we undertake independent economics research informed by culture, history and behaviour. We go beyond the analysis of traditional measures of economic success, to consider broader influences on global prosperity; from happiness and cultural attitudes to voter preferences and political institutions. Our policy-driven analysis is intended to shape public debate and influence policy decisions.

CAGE publishes around 40 to 50 working papers per year. Warwick Economics Undergraduate and MSc students are invited to write an essay succinctly summarising one of the CAGE working papers published during 2019 (working paper nos. 397 to 451). Essays should be a maximum of 1,500 words and should be written for a non-academic policy-engaged audience.
