Warwick Economics ranked 2nd in the UK for research excellence

99% of the department's research, and 100% of its impact, has been rated world leading or internationally excellent in the Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2021.

The REF is the national assessment of research quality for universities, assessed by research publications, research impact and research environment.

CAGE are proud to have underpinned each element of the department's submission through its research, activities and impact.

We are particularly proud that all five impact case studies submitted for evaluation were written by CAGE associates and that each of those associates have received support for their research activities from the Centre.
