About the speaker:

Al has been an actor for over twenty five years. He has enjoyed a diverse and fruitful career that has included work with visionaries like theatre director Steven Berkoff and film director Alfonso Cuarón.

Al’s first acting role was as a regular in British soap opera, Coronation Street. He has performed at theatre festivals throughout the world with his own theatre company, Gecko and works regularly at the National Theatre in London.
Having performed in the hugely successful War Horse, he then movement directed BBC Prom 22: The War Horse Prom, at the Royal Albert Hall. His movement direction also includes From Morning to Midnight at the National Theatre, Twelfth Night at Regents Park Open Air Theatre and Uncle Vanya at West Yorkshire Playhouse.
Al was also a movement artist in the Oscar-winning space movie, Gravity, starring Sandra Bullock and George Clooney.
Alongside his work as an actor and director, Al designs and conducts workshops and training courses for a wide range of clients such as the International Business Schools, IMD (Switzerland), INSEAD (Paris) and ESMT (Berlin). His clients also include Deloitte, Cisco, Adecco, Accenture, Volvo and Omnicom, plus many UK Universities.
