Title: The principles and practice of implementing a new wealth tax

Abstract: We present preliminary findings from the UK Wealth Tax Commission. We discuss the key design issues involved in implementation of a Wealth Tax, setting out the range of possible wealth tax structures that are possible in principle. We then set out three main rationales for a Wealth Tax, and the appropriate design solutions in each case.

Please note this will not be a research paper, but presentation of some policy work (though based on academic research).
