The Department of Economics is ranked 1st in the Good University Guide 2020
We are delighted to announce that the Department of Economics has been ranked top of their specialist subject table in the Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2020.
The University of Warwick is ranked 10th overall.
The Good University Guide 2020, published annually by the Times and the Sunday Times at the start of academic year, provides British university rankings based on five categories: teaching quality, student experience, research quality, entry points and graduate prospects.
Professor Jeremy Smith, Head of Department of Economics, said:
“I am delighted that we have reached the top position in this league table and would like to thank all staff and students of the Department who have contributed to it directly through their hard work and dedication. This external recognition is important to us but we are never complacent, continuing to develop further our strengths in research and teaching and attracting top quality staff and students, with our strategic aim to become one of the top 5 Economics Departments in Europe."
