Evidence into action

Evidence into action: a route to creating healthy jobs

We are creating two prototype roadmaps setting out the routes to creating healthy jobs.

We will focus our activity in the hospitality sector, and in the Greater Manchester area. Our team will working in partnership with the sector body, UKHospitality, and the team from the Greater Manchester Good Employment Charter to develop the roadmaps.

We will engage with a range of stakeholders relevant to the industry and region in which we are working to synthesise, prioritise and contextualise the evidence base. Our Co-Production Group will steer and provide hands-on support in this work.

Through the development of the roadmaps we aim to work with partners to co-create a plan that will:

  • Set out a vision, steps and milestones
  • Present a synthesis of the evidence on health and job quality developed during the CHJ programme, but reworking the content bespoke to different settings
  • Highlight contextual factors most likely to influence the pathway to introducing healthier jobs
  • Identify key workplace players and sector leads to achieve the best outcomes.
