What is the selection process?

A selection panel will meet to identify successful candidates. Scholars will be selected on the basis of the information given in the application and supporting statement. Eligibility for Government Tuition Fee Loan and Maintenance Loans, as well as Warwick Bursaries will be checked with the Student Funding Team at Warwick.

How will I be notified of the outcome of my application?

You will be notified of the outcome of your application by email. The recipients of the MSP Scholarships will be required to sign an agreement, which will include the need to produce an annual progress report and to demonstrate satisfactory academic progress.

Can I have another Scholarship as well as MSP and how does MSP differ to these programmes?

Yes, you can be a Multicultural Scholar as well as receiving another scholarship. MSP is delivered by Warwick Law School and has a dedicated programme of events for Law students, so most, but not all, opportunities focus on careers within the wider legal and international development sectors. There are also joint events for MSP and Warwick Scholars, as well as collaborative events with Student Opportunity, so you will have access to a wide range of guest talks, workshops and networking sessions.

"MSP was a fantastic scholarship programme which I am privileged to have been a part of. We formed a strong and supportive community, through our mentee and mentor programme and I have certainly made friends for life. Most importantly, we gained access to exciting cultural and career focused opportunities. MSP’s international work experience bursary allowed me to travel to Toronto to intern in a small private practice firm. In addition, I was also supported in my application for American Express’ General Counsel internship and I successfully completed 10 exciting weeks working with the firm. If you’re looking to enrich your university experience, I would definitely recommend applying to be an MSP Scholar. "
