Warwick Law School are running workshops to help students understand the justice system, something we think that everyone should know about, regardless of whether or not they are thinking about a career in law.
What is involved?
Through role play and interactive activities students will learn about the courts in England and Wales and gain an insight into the Criminal Justice System.
Our staff and student ambassadors will explain the role of the judge, jury, defence and prosecution so students can act out and review an example case heard at Crown Court (as well as getting to deliver their verdict and sentence!).
Booking a workshop
- Workshops can be delivered in school, or at the University of Warwick as part of a campus visit
- Designed to an hour
- Suitable for Year 9-13
- Available from April 2018.
Priority will be given to state schools with below average exam performance and/or above the national average entitlement to Free School Meals (does my school meet the criteria?)
