PAIS Departmental Research Seminar
‘Neoliberal Citizenship: Sacred Markets, Sacrificial Lives’ with Dr Luca Mavelli (University of Kent) .
Dr Luca Mavelli will discuss his exciting new book Neoliberal Citizenship. He argues that with cosmopolitan illusions put to rest, Europe is now haunted by a pervasive neoliberal transformation of citizenship that subordinates inclusion, protection, and belonging to rationalities of value.
