About the Event

In this talk, I revisit previous efforts to draft international laws for technology, focusing on the drafting of the Code of Conduct on the Transfer of Technology (1978–85) and the writings of legal scholars during the postwar period of decolonisation, bringing them into conversation with work by historians of technology.

About the Speaker

Anna Saunders is a PhD candidate at UCL Laws. She works in the history and theory of international law, with a particular focus on property, technology, and climate. The seminar will start with lunch at 12:30pm in Room S2.09
